Before purchasing and installing a fuel pump module assembly, make sure it is the correct fit for your vehicle.

Fuel contamination is one of the top reasons for fuel pump failure. For proper operation and longevity, it is critical to have a clean fuel system.
When servicing a fuel pump, always replace the strainer, and inspect the inline fuel filter for contamination (if equipped).
Before replacing a fuel pump, check for proper electrical connections, pressure, and volume.
Regularly inspect fuel pump module assembly for signs of damage or wear and replace them if signs of damage are found.

Signs of wear for fuel pump module assemblies include but are not limited to:

Fuel gauge reading incorrectly
Excessive or abnormal engine noise
Service engine soon light is illuminated
Improper engine idling, hesitation, or stalling
Excessive exhaust smoke
Noticeable fuel odors
