Before the purchase and installation of an underhood lamp, make sure it is the correct fit for your vehicle.
- Do not splice into the lamp's wire harness to power alternate components.
- Regularly inspect underhood lamps for signs of damage or wear, and replace them if signs of damage are found.
- Refer to your Vehicle Owner's manual for additional vehicle maintenance practices.
Signs of wear or damage for underhood lamps include but are not limited to:
- Burnt out bulb
- Blown light fuses
- No power to the lamp
